Sandwich Panel Production with a Mineral Fibre Core
Special fire protection requirements for wall claddings demand the application of sandwich panels with mineral fibre insulation. These sandwich panels can also be produced on the continuously manufacturing production line - as described before.
The following figures show the machine equipment for the prefabrication of mineral fibre plates.
Prepared mineral fibre plates in the lengths of up to 2,500 mm are fed to the continuous production.
The mineral fibre plates are connected with the facings by using adhesive.

|
Depending on the quantity of sandwich panels with mineral fibre core to be produced, there is also the possibility of a discontinuous production.
In this case elements in prefabricated lengths are finally treated in a adhesive press (see picture).
A brochure about the Economical Manufacture, Characteristics and the Use of Sandwich Panels made of Steel in the Building Industry is available at W + K IndustrieTechnik for interested customers.
